Transpack Increase Sales Again This Christmas

Christmas Sales have increased year on year for Transpack and this year has been no exception, although tough competition online from Ebay and Amazon who are now monopolising the E-commerce search engine rankings and making it extremely hard for SMEs to compete!

Transpack launced their new website in September and customers have responded well increasing their average spend per transaction. The new look website makes finding the packaging products you require a lot easier with additional searches by size, colour & price available.

The top sellers have been Cellophane bags, Mailing bags, Greetings Card Bags & Tissue paper with Packaging Ribbon sales up by over half on 2013. This was helped by the addition of a new range of gorgeous printed ribbons, some new tissue paper colours and these beautiful coloured cello bags.

Transpack have also sold a mountain of loose fill packaging, jiffy bags, postal boxes, shrink film and packaging tapes.

The last despatch day before Christmas is 23rd December and orders must be in by 3pm. Anything received after this time will be despatched on 5th January 2015.

Next year this packaging company will be adding more new products including a new range of brown postal boxes as the white postal boxes and PIP boxes have sold so well.

Mousemesh News

Mousemesh was designed to keep mice from entering home via the holes in airbricks and a strengthened version - with a stainless steel rather than plastic frame - is proof against rats and is sometimes refered to as RatMesh.

SiteWeave launch re-write of PCP-SCITT web site

 
PCP-SCITT is a rather daunting set of initials - standing for Primary Catholic Partnership School Centred Initital Teacher Training. Essentially PCP-SCITT offers post graduates with a one year course which will provide them with their PGCE - Post Graduate Certificate of Education, enabling them to teach in schoold in the UK.

SiteWeave first worked with PCP SCITT in 2002 and wrote a web a new web site for them in 2008.  This first web site was based in our Send and Go web design and has been maintained by members of staff at PCP SCITT.

The new web site is a bespoke design but will continue to be maintained by PCP SCITT.

GWS Motorsport is the SiteWeave site of the Month for August

GWS Motorsport was started in the spring of 2010 by Glenn Sherwood, Managing Director of Tructyre Fleet Management, with a road-going Lotus Exige. S2, which spent a lot of time sitting in his garage and not turning a wheel.

Glenn, with no previous racing experience apart from some rally days, took the necessary ARDS test at Goodwood for his race licence and joined Lotus on Track, employed the services of Essex Auto Sport, based in Romford, who specialise in preparing Lotus cars for racing.

Joining Glenn in the car is Jamie Stanley a professional race driver and instructor.

MouseMesh Grills

MouseMesh is a grille that fits over airbricks to prevent mice entering your home.  Mice can enter any hole that you can pass a pencil through and an air brick is just another entrance-way as far as they are concerned!

The mesh is made of stainless steel and there are three different coloured plastic frames: white, black and brown.  In addition there are versions of all three sizes with a stainless steel frame, thus making the MouseMesh rat proof.

MouseMesh come in three sizes - all are wide enough to cover the width of one brick and the medium size will cover the height of two bricks and the large size will cover the height of three bricks.
